Kindergarten Students Own Their Learning

Student teaming has cultivated a fun, exciting learning atmosphere in my Kindergarten classroom. Students feel responsible for their teams’ learning and helping each other to complete their purposeful task. Each member on the team takes great pride in their team role (Facilitator, Monitor, Materials, Reporter). The students “own” their learning and as their teacher, I get to stand back and observe the joy that my students are experiencing while learning as a team.
